Support

For Chess Clock, Scoreboard & Dice (iOS)

Questions, problems, or a feature you wish the app had? Email bartiquelk@gmail.com and we'll reply, usually within one business day. Telling us which tool you were using (clock, scoreboard, dice, counter or random picker) and your device model makes it much faster to help.

Common questions

Which time controls does the chess clock support?

Sudden death, Fischer increment, Bronstein delay and simple (US) delay, with bullet, blitz, rapid and classical presets. Custom time controls let you set any minutes and increment in any of the four modes.

Is the clock accurate?

Yes. The clock is driven by the device's monotonic stopwatch rather than a repeating timer, so it does not drift over a long game. The screen stays awake while a game is running.

I closed the app during a game. Is the score gone?

No. The current scoreboard saves itself on every change and is restored the next time you open the app. Saving several named games (for a running league, for example) is part of Pro.

Does the app need an internet connection or an account?

No. Every tool runs entirely on your device. There is no account and nothing you enter is uploaded. See the Privacy Policy.

What is free and what is Pro?

The chess clock is completely free, every preset and every mode. The scoreboard is free for up to four players, the counter for up to three counters, and the dice roller with six-sided dice. Pro unlocks more players, more counters, the full d4 to d100 dice set, custom time controls and named saved games.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: on your device open Settings › your name › Subscriptions, choose this app and tap Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.
